Ticket prices will increase for Disney World to its four parks next month — with the cost of entering the Magic Kingdom expected to nearly double for the holidays.

Currently, the lowest price for a one-day ticket to any of Disney World’s Orlando theme parks is $109.
With the increase, Magic Kingdom prices will start at $124 and increase to $189 depending on the date and demand for the parks.
The tickets will cost closer to the $189 price point specifically during the week of Christmas to New Year’s. However, more than 99% of its one-day, one-park tickets will be under $189.
The price to enter Epcot will go up as well, new prices range from $114 to $179, while Disney’s Hollywood Studios will cost $124 to $179. Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be the only park to keep its current price range at $109 to $159.
Multi-Day Tickets
It’s important to highlight that the above prices refer to single-day tickets only. If you purchase a 5-Day ticket, you’re not spending $189 per day.
When you add multiple days to your theme park pass, the per-day ticket price decreases significantly
Park Hopper Price Increase
On Dec. 8, Disney World will update pricing on select add-on options, including the Park Hopper Option and Park Hopper Plus Option.

What happens with the flight booked through Air2Sea if I need to cancel my cruise?

Tips for Making Epcot Candlelight Processional Dining Packages
Guide to making reservations for the Epcot Candlelight Dining Package
At Epcot’s Candlelight Processional, guests can experience celebrity narrators, the Voices of Liberty acapella ensemble, a 50-piece live orchestra and glorious massed choirs as they present a retelling of the traditional Christmas story.
A Candlelight Processional Dining Package includes lunch or dinner at a participating Epcot restaurant and guaranteed admission to the show.
Is a dining package required to see Candlelight Processional? Nope! Standby guests who line up early will almost certainly get into the show.
For the dining package, you can choose from several restaurants at EPCOT that offer Candlelight Processional Dining Packages. Each package includes:
An appetizer, entrée and dessert or one (1) full buffet (where applicable), along with a non-alcoholic beverage
One (1) guaranteed seat per person to a Candlelight Processional performance held on the same day
The reservation time you select determines which performance you’ll go to. There are at least 2 performances each night.
Tips for Getting a Candlelight Dining Package
Dining reservations are extremely difficult to secure at Walt Disney World and Candlelight Processional Dining Packages are no different. They sell out within within minutes going on sale.
While there’s a lot of luck involved here are a few things you can do help increase your chances.

First, make a park reservation for Epcot on the day you want to make the Candlelight Dining Package reservation, or at least make sure reservations are available.
If you have a Park Hopper ticket, you can begin park hopping at 2 pm (subject to availability).

Link a credit card to your My Disney Experience account, under the My Profile section. This way you can speed through the checkout process by not having to spend time entering your credit card information. A credit card hold is required to make the reservation.
Also, keep a credit card handy just in case. Sometimes the system doesn’t see that you have a card on file and makes you enter it again.

Know the date, time and restaurant you want in advance. For a list of participating restaurants, see my Candlelight Processional article here. It’s also a good idea to have a backup option, but you’ll need to work fast if your first choice isn’t available.

Log into your My Disney Experience account at least 5 minutes before the packages go on sale. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the dining reservation system.

If someone in your party has their own My Disney Experience account, they can also try for a reservation as well.
NOTE: You cannot have multiple people signed into the same My Disney Experience account at the same time.
The system will automatically log the other person out when it detects a new log in.
You may not realize you have been logged out until it’s time to check out and the system asks you to log in again. At this point you’ll likely lose your time slot to someone else.

Locate the Candlelight Processional Dining Package from the list of restaurants. It has a seperate listing, do not look up the restaurant by name - look up the “Candlelight Processional Dining Package” instead.
You can also search for these packages using the search tool on the app and website to find them faster.

When the site unlocks at 6 am ET, you’ll need to move fast. Enter the date, restaurant, party size and time. Do not spend time choosing the people in your party in the drop down menu.
Disney just needs to have the headcount. You can go back and fill in names later if you want, once your reservation is confirmed.
Tips if you Don’t Get a Candlelight Dining Package
Go standby! People will begin queuing up about 60 minutes prior to each show. At Disney, waiting 60 minutes for an attraction is no big deal, right?
Odds are very good you’ll get into the show.
If there is a popular narrator, like the voice of Olaf, Josh Gad, I recommend checking out the line situation starting 2-3 hours prior to the show.
This will give you an idea of when you should get in line for the second show.
Ask a Cast Member at the American Gardens Theater what time they recommend you get in the standby line.
Cast Members work the show every night and have a good idea of when people have been forming a line. They will happy to help you.
Book a same-day dining package. Same-day Candlelight Processional Dining Packages have returned to Regal Eagle Smokehouse and Spice Road Table. Regal Eagle is a terrific value because it’s cheaper, and you get the exact same ticket as those paying a lot more for lunch and dinner.
Last year I had such great luck with same-day dining reservations that I’m planning on doing it again this year.
My tip: get to Regal Eagle at 11:30 am, the restaurant opens at 11:45 am.
Last year there were plenty of same-day dining packages available when I checked.
The regular cashiers at Regal Eagle sell the package, there’s no special area to purchase them.
If you don’t want to wait in standby or do a dining package, you can stand on the World Showcase promenade and watch the show from there.
You just can’t stand in the main walkway.
You’ll actually have a very good view of the stage, but of course, you should arrive early.

Disney After Hours Events Return in January at Walt Disney World Resort
Disney After Hours Returning to Walt Disney World
Disney After Hours events will return to Walt Disney World Resort starting January 2023!
These experiences are scheduled to kick off January 4 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and January 9 at Magic Kingdom Park.
Disney After Hours events at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are scheduled for select nights, January 4 through April 19, 2023.
In case you aren’t familiar with Disney After Hours, these late-night, separately ticketed events let you enjoy a Walt Disney World theme park for 3 additional hours after regular park hours, with treats such as ice cream, popcorn and select beverages included.
The number of tickets for these events is limited, which means lower wait times for some of your favorite attractions.
At Magic Kingdom Park, this means Guests can enjoy more than 20 popular attractions such as Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios Guests can pilot the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, ride through a zany cartoon adventure in Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, shrink to the size of a toy in Toy Story Land and more.
With Disney After Hours tickets, Guests can enter the park where the event is taking place as early as 7 p.m. giving them the opportunity to get a jump on the fun!
Disney After Hours admission is a separately priced ticket not included with regular daytime park admission.
Event tickets for Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios can be purchased by all guests starting October 7, 2022, with prices ranging from $129 to $159 (plus tax).
Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can begin purchasing Disney After Hours tickets as early as October 4.
The advance-purchase window is available to Guests of Disney Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels as well as Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort.
Disney Vacation Club members and Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can also purchase specially priced tickets for select dates.
Disney After Hours events at Magic Kingdom Park are scheduled for select nights, January 9 through March 27, 2023.

Disney Cruise Line Updates Vaccine Requirements
Disney Cruise Line to end vaccine requirements
Beginning Oct. 14, 2022, Disney Cruise Line will no longer require guests to be vaccinated on the following ships:
Disney Wonder
Disney Dream
Disney Fantasy
Disney Wish
Guest are not required to be vaccinated on the Disney Magic beginning Nov. 7, 2022.
Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, Disney Wonder vaccine requirements beginning October 14, 2022
Disney Cruise Line will no longer require Guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of sailing, however, it is highly recommended.
All Guests ages 5 years and older who are not fully vaccinated (Unvaccinated Guests) will need to submit proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken 1-2 days before the sail date.
Guests ages 4 years of age and younger do not require testing.
To be exempt from testing requirements, fully vaccinated Guests must upload their proof of vaccination to the Inspire Diagnostics Safe Passage website by midnight prior to embarkation day.
Unvaccinated Guests must upload a negative COVID-19 test result to the Inspire Diagnostics Safe Passage website by midnight prior to embarkation day.

EPCOT ‘Candlelight Processional’ Celebrity Narrators and Dining Packages
Candlelight Processional at Epcot is a time-honored tradition that has been a part of the holiday season at Walt Disney World since 1971.
Candlelight Dining Packages will be available again this year and same-day dining packages are returning as well.

I highly recommend that you book a “Candlelight Processional Dining Package” if you’re planning on seeing the show.
Packages go on sale Oct. 6, 2022, starting at 6 a.m. ET on disneyworld.com or in your Disney World mobile app.
If you don’t have a Candlelight Processional Dining Package, you’ll need to queue up about 2 hours prior to the show, but there is no guarantee that you will get a seat in the show.

The same-day dining package at Regal Eagle is a terrific value but it can be a roll of the dice with availability. Packages are subject to availability and may not be available on peak dates.
Last year I was able to get a same-day ticket by visiting Regal Eagle as soon as they opened, typically 11:45 a.m.
I anticipate high demand for Josh Gad and Neil Patric Harris performances.

If your ideal beach day involves a quiet stretch of powdery shoreline, tranquil waters and plenty of rest and relaxation, you’ve come to the right place. Perfect Day at Coco Cay is Royal Caribbean’s private island in the Bahamas.
If you want to slow down, work on your tan and spend some time recharging, there’s Chill Island. Perfect for both couples and families, this area of Perfect Day at CocoCay is the best place to relax and soak up the island vibes.
Here’s everything you need to know before you go.
Plenty of Shade
There’s no need to worry about getting ashore early to claim a beach chair and umbrella on Chill Island.
This part of Perfect Day at CocoCay has an abundance of loungers and umbrellas along its shores, and they’re all complimentary.
One of the best things to do at Chill Island if you’re visiting with a group of friends or your extended family — or if you want to upgrade your romantic getaway — is to reserve one of the Chill Island cabanas.
Each cabana accommodates up to eight guests and comes with attendant service.
Reserving a cabana on Chill Island is a great option for families who want an added level of comfort, or couples looking to elevate their day of relaxation.
Just remember they are subject to availability.
You Have the Option to Play
True to its name, Chill Island is really all about the chill factor — but that doesn’t mean you won’t have the option to break up all that shoreside lounging with a bit of action.
There’s a shack nearby where you can rent snorkel equipment to check out some of the vibrant coral reefs located just offshore.
Keep an eye out for the friendly manta rays that call the island home — they’re not shy and don’t mind swimming up close to snorkelers.
There’s also a dock in this area where you can join a jet ski tour of the island.
You can book water activities ahead of your cruise on Cruise Planner, onboard the cruise ship before you arrive at Perfect Day at CocoCay, or on the island during your time ashore.
Just remember that equipment and spots on the tours are subject to availability, so it’s usually recommended to book ahead.

Two Side - Two Vibes
Compared to most of the other areas on Perfect Day at CocoCay, Chill Island is definitely the most tranquil spot around.
But the north end is the calmer and more secluded side, and a preferred pick among couples.
The south end has more activity, since that’s where you’ll find the Snorkel Shack and the dock for jet ski rentals and tours.
Lunch and Lounge
One of the best things at Chill Island is that you don’t really have to leave the area for anything if you don’t want to.
Chill Island boasts the largest restaurant on Perfect Day at CocoCay, Chill Grill, serving a wide range of delicious options tailored to any kind of diet or preference.
You’ll find crisp salads, tasty sandwiches, build-your-own tacos, fresh fruit, and grilled favorites like BBQ chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs and more.
For dessert, there’s soft-serve ice cream, cookies and brownies.
The food is free at Chill Island so make sure you save room for seconds.
There’s also a towel station nearby, in case you forgot to grab one on your way off the cruise ship.

Sip In Serenity
When you feel it’s time to unwind with an ice-cold brew or your favorite summertime cocktail, you have plenty of options right on Chill Island.
On either end of the beach you’ll find the Wacky Seagull and Wacky Seagull Jr. bars, both serving adult beverages.
And just offshore, the fan-favorite Floating Bar is easy to spot.
All you have to do is swim out to the gently-bobbing tiki hut to enjoy your Coco Loco with a side of sea views.
Beverage packages purchased on the cruise ship or via Cruise Planner app on Perfect Day at CocoCay, so all you need to bring is your SeaPass card.
No matter how chill you want to go while visiting Perfect Day at CocoCay, Chill Island is the ultimate go-to spot for laid-back beach vibes.

Headed to Thrill Waterpark at Perfect Day at CocoCay? Here’s your guide to getting in on all the action.
Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private island in the Bahamas, is one of the cruise line’s highest rated destinations.
While Perfect Day at CocoCay is included in your cruise, Thrill Water Park requires a separate ticket. It can be purchased prior to your cruise in the Royal Caribbean app or even onboard the ship.
But before you dive headfirst into all the slides and rides that await in Thrill Island island, there are a few things you’ll want to know first.
Take advantage of complimentary lockers
When you visit Thrill Waterpark at Perfect Day at CocoCay, you don’t need to worry about keeping track of your belongings while taking advantage of all the slides and rides.
The waterpark offers complimentary lockers where you can store your valuables — just keep in mind they are subject to availability, so it’s best to arrive early in order to make sure you get one.
Rent a Cabana
If you really want to upgrade your experience you can reserve a private cabana inside the waterpark.
Cabanas at Thrill Waterpark come with attendant service and include access to all the park’s attractions and experiences for up to six guests, which means you don’t have to purchase admission.
If you’ve purchased admission to Thrill Waterpark or reserved a cabana there, you’ll receive a wristband as soon as you get to the park’s entrance.
You can come and go as much as you like throughout the day, just make sure you keep the wristband on — you’ll need to show it every time you reenter the waterpark.

Take advantage of free food!
Thrill Waterpark also has a Snack Shack right onsite.
It’s the closest and most convenient spot to hit if you start to work up an appetite, and the food is really delicious. Did I mention it’s free?
The menu includes lots of options to suit all kinds of diets and preferences, including crisp leafy salads, fresh fruit, sandwiches and finger foods like mozzarella sticks and golden fries — not to mention the legendary Shack Burger.
Just make sure you save room for dessert. The soft-serve ice cream, fresh-baked cookies and gooey brownies are worth the extra calories.
