Insider Tips to Oasis Lagoon Pool at Perfect Day at CocoCay
Everything you need to know before taking a dip in the Caribbean’s largest freshwater pool.
Perfect Day at CocoCay, the newly reimagined destination by Royal Caribbean, has made headlines with its record-breaking attractions.
But one of the coolest features you can look forward to on this exclusive private island in The Bahamas is Oasis Lagoon.
The largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean, it has everything you need to unwind and savor the island vibes, Coco Loco in hand. Here’s what you need to know.
Lounge All Day
Oasis Lagoon at Perfect Day at CocoCay is the ‘largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean’ — and it truly is massive.
This larger-than-life hangout encompasses three swim-up islands that are perfect for kicking back and soaking up the sun, and multiple coves that each offer a different kind of vibe — not to mention plenty of in-water seating and tables.
Partially-submerged loungers also line the entire perimeter of the pool — prime real estate if you want to work on your tan without having to leave the cool comfort of the water. You always have the option to upgrade to total privacy and exclusivity in your own cabana, that come with concierge service.
Visiting Oasis Lagoon with kids?
No problem. Oasis Lagoon is totally family-friendly — there’s a cove with a sloping entry designed just for little swimmers plus lots of space to splash around, and the deepest part of the pool measures just four-and-a-half feet.
Island Vibes All Day
While it definitely offers plenty of secluded areas for those who just want to relax and disconnect, Oasis Lagoon is also the perfect spot if you’re looking for a good party with a DJ keeps the beats coming strong all afternoon.
The swim-up bar is hands-down one of the best things to do at Oasis Lagoon — it’s where you’ll find most of the action, and with 23 in-water seats, you don’t even need to leave the pool to grab an ice-cold beer or your favorite tropical drink.
Cool and Complimentary
Access to Oasis Lagoon is completely free for guests visiting Perfect Day at CocoCay, and all the chairs and umbrellas that surround the area are also free as well.
There’s a complimentary towel station nearby, too, so you don’t have to worry if you forgot to grab a towel on your way off the ship — just make sure you return it before you board again.
The only thing you need to pay for at Oasis Lagoon are the cabanas (should you choose to reserve one) and the alcoholic drinks, but if you’ve already purchased a beverage package for your cruise, you can also use it on the island.
Dig Into Delicious
One of the great things about Oasis Lagoon is that you don’t need to wander far to grab a bite if you start to work up an appetite.
A nearby Snack Shack makes for the perfect pit stop to refuel on beach day favorites before diving back into the Caribbean’s largest freshwater pool.
Open from 11 a.m. until 45 minutes before boarding time, the Snack Shack serves up complimentary hot dogs, crisp salads, fresh fruit and all kinds of other options to suit different tastes and diets.
If you’re a meat lover, don’t miss the signature Shack Burger, made with a special top-secret Shack sauce you won’t find anywhere outside of Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Just make sure you save some room for a sweet treat after your meal — the Snack Shack offers some of the best homemade cookies and brownies on the island.

Royal Caribbean: Private Island Vacations- What to do in Labadee
Whether you’re looking for a jolt of adrenaline on the world’s longest overwater zip line or a spot to cozy up on the white sand beach to relax and kick back, there are plenty of reasons why Labadee is a top Caribbean cruise destination.
Plan a Vacation Package Escape to the Oasis of Labadee, Haiti.
For those seeking beautiful beaches, quaint seaside towns, and endless outdoor adventures, the Caribbean offers plenty of gorgeous destinations to choose from.
But there's nothing like private island vacations with Royal Caribbean. These VIP experiences are more affordable that you might think, starting at $209 (before port fees).
Labadee is a stunning stretch of shoreline along Haiti's beautiful northern coast.
This pristine tropical paradise is accessible only to guests sailing on Royal Caribbean. You might not hear as much about Labadee as with other Caribbean ports. That’s because this island is kept private and away from the masses. It’s truly a VIP experience.
Labadee is decked out with all the five-star comforts and amenities you expect to enjoy the ultimate beach day.
Royal Caribbean offers plenty for both thrill- and chill-seekers alike in Labadee. Here are some of the top reasons to add Labadee to your travel list.
Labadee Beaches
Labadee, Haiti, is home to five impressive stretches of shoreline.
Each is covered with fine, white sand and swaying palm trees.
On my first visit, I was amazed at how high the mountains were. I pictured the island to be flat for some reason. These mountains provide a truly wow-worthy backdrop from every angle.
You won’t see several different cruise lines show up. Since Labadee is a private destination, the only other people you'll see are locals, staff and other Royal Caribbean guests, creating a tropical atmosphere free of crowds.
UP THE ADVENTURE WITH THRILLING RIDES AND SLIDES
Labadee packs in plenty of opportunities for daredevils of all ages to chase thrills during their private island vacations. One of my favorites is the Dragon's Breath Flight Line, half a mile of exhilarating zip line over sea and jungle. Even those afraid of heights say they loved it.
And then there's its sister ride, the Dragon's Fire Flight Line, which lets you soar through the air headfirst like a superhero.
Classic Activities
In addition to the big thrills, when visiting Labadee there are many other classic outdoor experiences like parasailing, speedboats, rides and more ways to make the most of your visit.
Here's an insider tip: The island is surrounded by colorful coral reefs teeming with marine life, which makes it a great destination for snorkeling.
Whether your ideal private island vacation getaway involves total relaxation, plenty of thrilling activities and excursions, or a balanced blend of both, Labadee, Haiti, will not disappoint.
Labadee vacation packages feel exclusive and luxurious, but you won't break your budget. Once you've spent a day here, you'll see why it's considered a top-rated port among cruise guests.
Cruises to Labadee depart Orlando and Miami often.

Epcot Tours Are Coming Back!
I am thrilled to share fan-favorite tours from Disney World’s Enchanting Extras Collection are returning to EPCOT beginning Oct. 2, adding to and completing the previously announced lineup of highly popular tours returning to Walt Disney World Resort.
A while back my wife asked me what she could get me for my birthday. I told her that I wanted to do the tour that takes you behind the scenes at Walt Disney World.
When I opened my birthday card, I saw tickets to the, “Behind the SEEDS” tour inside The Land pavilion at Epcot. Slight misunderstanding but I was grateful just the same. Who doesn’t like plants?
Behind the Seeds Tour at Epcot
It was more fun that I had thought.
And starting October 2, 2022, the Behind the Seeds Tour is returning after being paused for Covid.
If you like the Living with the Land attraction at Epcot or have an interest in gardening and natural sciences, then you’ll love Behind the Seeds!
It’s a 1 hour walking tour, and yes you get to see backstage at Epcot - a very rare opportunity at Disney World.
Experience The Seas Tour | Epcot
Experience The Seas:
The Seas with Nemo & Friends at Epcot is home to more than 2,000 sea creatures representing over 90 aquatic species including sea turtles, angelfish, dolphins, eagle rays and sharks.
With the return of Epcot Seas Adventures – DiveQuest, you once again can dive right into this 5.7-million-gallon saltwater environment and immerse yourself into the sea life surrounding the coral reef.
This experience offers SCUBA-certified guests guaranteed calm seas, unlimited visibility, and incredible marine life.
If you aren’t SCUBA-certified or prefer to stay on land don’t worry; there is a tour for you, too!
With the return of Epcot Seas Adventures – Dolphins in Depth, you can meet the bottlenose dolphins at The Seas to learn about their complex undersea behavior and talk with the experts who work with them every day.
These guest-favorite tours return beginning Oct. 2 and are on sale beginning Aug. 22 on DisneyWorld.com or the My Disney Experience app.
Advance bookings are highly recommended. Please note the Behind the Seeds experience requires a valid theme park admission and park reservation.

Easy Guide to MagicBand+ at Walt Disney World
What does MagicBand+ do and is it worth it?
MagicBand+ has officially arrived at Walt Disney World and comes with a number of interactive features.
As of right now it’s not replacing the standard MagicBand, those are still widely available.
Once you get MagicBand+ you’ll need to link it to your My Disney Experience account and pair it to your phone.
This is easy, it happens almost automatically.
You can then use the My Disney Experience app to set up the colors you want MagicBand+ to display and to turn on/off the haptic vibrations - though I recommend that you leave them on to get the best experience.
You’ll also need to download the Play Disney Parks app, a free app that allows you to play games and answer trivia questions while in the parks and even at home.
MagicBand+ Interactive features
The point of MagicBand+ is that it has interactive elements that come alive while you're visiting the theme parks.
I have a feeling that this technology is only in its infancy.
Disney will likely add a number of new features in the future, but here are a few you can have fun with right now.
Disney Fab 50 Quest
As part of the Walt Disney’s World 50th Anniversary celebration there are 50 golden character statues found throughout each of the four theme parks.
Wave your MagicBand+ in front of each statue and you'll activate a short phrase or a tune.
You’ll use the Play Disney Parks app to keep track of the characters you need to unlock.
Younger children and maybe even some adults will enjoy interacting with the characters.
If you can’t find the characters, that’s ok! MagicBand+ senses when it’s near a statue and will begin to vibrate and light up.
Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters
In Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios your mission is to locate and collect hidden characters.
This is by far the most interesting of all the current MagicBand+ features.
Actually, it’s pretty much the main reason why you would want to buy one.
You start at the job board in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge where you’re assigned a bounty mission.
The job board at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is where you’re assigned your mission.
While you're on the hunt, MagicBand+ will pulse green as you get closer and red if you move further away as you explore Galaxy's Edge.
Search for doors around StarWars Galaxy’s Edge. MagicBand+ leads you in the right direction.
To see if your bounty is located behind the door, tap MagicBand+ on these readers.
My son, age 12, would have stayed all day playing this game. There were a lot of adults playing the game too.
Using MagicBand+ and the Play Disney Parks app, we do a thermo scan to see if our bounty is hiding behind the door. Looks like he’s in there!
When you've located your bounty, you can use your phone via the Play Disney Parks app as a thermal scanner to capture your bounty.
Then you’ll return the bounty to an alien who will give you galactic credits.
Once you have located your bounty and your MagicBand+ lights up purple, look for the alien who will give you credits for completing your mission.
Nighttime Spectaculars
MagicBand+ interacts with Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom and Harmonious at Epcot by lighting up and occasionally vibrating during key moments of these performances.
No word yet on whether it will work with Fantasmic but if enough guests have them, it would certainly create a cool effect across the audience.
It also lights up and interacts with Spaceship Earth’s light show at Epcot.
Regular MagicBand Functions
Of course MagicBand+ also functions as a traditional MagicBand so you can use it to access your theme park tickets, open your hotel room door, charge items to your Disney hotel room, link PhotoPass, and tap in for Lightning Lane.
These features work even if MagicBand+ runs out of battery.
Yes, MagicBand+ has a rechargeable battery.
A USB charger is included and it’s important to note that the battery is only 50% charged out of the box.
Battery life is decent, and should last all day on a full charge. Watch your phone battery though, if you’re using the Play Disney Parks app along with Disney Genie and Disney Genie+, you may drain the battery faster than expected.
Is MagicBand+ Worth it?
I say yes! Children will love how their band lights up during the nighttime shows and playing Batuu Bounty Hunters.
One opportunity for improvement is that it’s difficult to see MagicBand+ light up during the day. The Florida sun is bright!
You definitely need to charge it, presumably overnight. If your family has cell phones and watches that also need to charge, you may run out of USB ports in your hotel room.
If you have a USB charging hub at home, you should pack it in your luggage so you can charge all your devices at night.
MagicBand+ starts at $35 for a solid color design, but some special designs cost $45.
Regular, 2nd Generation MagicBands range in price from $12 to $35.
If you’re primarily looking for access to the parks and Lightning Lane I would skip MagicBands altogether and and use Mobile Magic.
Mobile Magic turns your phone into a MagicBand and is available for free in the My Disney Experience app. You can manage your entire family with Mobile Magic
Where to Get MagicBand+
Bands are currently available in your My Disney Experience account.
You can also purchase them through shopdisney.com or from these locations at Walt Disney World:
Magic Kingdom Park: Emporium
Epcot: Pin Traders – Camera Center
Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Celebrity 5 & 10 and Tatooine Traders
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Discovery Trading Company
Disney Springs: Disney’s Pin Traders
I do not recommend you buy them from sites like eBay. According to Disney, MagicBand+ is non-transferrable. Once it’s assigned to an individual, it cannot be reassigned to someone else.
Even if the seller claims that it hasn't been used, there’s no way to verify that until you try to link it to your account.
Will my old MagicBand still work at Walt Disney World?
Yes. MagicBand+ is not replacing the regular MagicBand, at least not yet.

Why is it so hard to find a 2 or 3 bedroom villa at Disney World?
Why are 2 and 3 bedroom villas so hard to book?
1) There aren’t many 2 and 3 bedroom villas available across Disney World so they tend to book up faster than other villa types.
2) DVC members are able to book these rooms before the general public. After about 6 months out, villas that have not been reserved by DVC members will be placed into inventory for the general public.
Great places to start your search are Disney’s Old Key West Resort and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resorts, they often have availability set aside for non-DVC members.

How to Find Your Car at Walt Disney World
Use your phone to help find your car at Walt Disney World
As an Orlando local, and travel advisor, I spend a lot of time in the Disney World theme parks, which also means I drive to the parks. One thing the makes me go bonkers is the constant sound of car alarms going off across the parking lot. At any given time, 5 or 6 alarms will be going off and it’s really annoying.
No, Disney isn’t a high crime area. It’s people activating the panic button on their remote to help them find their car in the vast, seemingly endless parking lots of Walt Disney World.
Soon, Disney World will be adding a new feature to its mobile app called “Car Locator” which will help people locate their car in the parking lots.
But did you know your smartphone already has this technology built in? You can use your phone to help you locate your car in any parking lot, even outside of Disney World.
Most newer phones automatically remember your vehicle’s location whenever they are disconnected from Bluetooth.
Here’s how you can use your phone to find your car, in all parking lots, but especially Disney.
iPhone Users
How to turn on the Parked Car feature
The Parked Car option should be enabled by default, but just in case it's not, it's easy to turn it on manually. Just be sure to set it up while your phone is connected to your vehicle’s bluetooth system.
Open the Settings app.
Tap the Maps setting.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
Make sure the Show Parked Location toggle is switched to the On position.
How to find your car
Open Maps and tap Parked Car.
You can even ask Siri to help, just say “Hey Siri, Where’s my Car?”
Android Users
How to save where you’re parked
On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app.
Tap the blue dot that shows your location.
Tap Save your parking.
How to find where you're parked
Open the Google Maps
Tap the search bar and then Parking location.
On the bottom, tap Directions.

Disney World: What if I forgot to make a park reservation?
Forgot to make a park reservation at Walt Disney World? Here are some options.
You are required to make theme park reservations for Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Theme Park Reservations are made on the Walt Disney World website only, not on the mobile app.
But what happens if you forgot to make a reservation and the parks are at capacity? Can you still get into the park?
Sometimes same-day availability opens up, so keep checking the website everyday.
Do not show up without a reservation expecting to plead your case to the Cast Member at the gate. You will be denied entry without a reservation, assuming reservations are at capacity. Disney is firm on this. I see it happen all the time - heartbreaking!
One solution might be to add the Park Hopper option to your ticket. If you see availability at other Disney parks, make the reservation then park hop to the park you really want to visit.
Just keep in mind that park hopping begins at 2 pm.
The fee is approximately $100 per ticket, but on multi-day tickets, it will be valid for all your remaining ticket days.
I was hoping that Disney would eliminate the need for park reservations in 2023, but it appears leadership is just getting started. There are rumors that premium (paid) park reservation options may be coming.
Park reservations are subject to availability and they do book up on certain days - especially weekends.
It’s best to make your reservations as far in advance as possible. They can be adjusted later if there is availability.

Tour Disney's Vero Beach Resort
Join me as I visit and tour Disney’s Vero Beach Resort in Florida
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is located 2 hours southeast of Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
It’s actually part of the Walt Disney World collection of hotels - online check in is done through the Disney World mobile app.
The resort consists of standard hotel rooms, 1 and 2 bedroom villas, and 3-bedroom cottages.
On this trip we had an Ocean View hotel room. The extra cost for the view was well worth it.
Despite being a beach hotel, Disney has hidden the beach from any ground level area of the resort. Every possible view from the main floor or even outside on the sidewalk is blocked by thick vegetation.
I suspect this has to do with creating dark beaches for the sea turtles, so if you want to see the ocean, get an Ocean View room!
Tips for Disney’s Vero Beach Resort
Sign up for activities as soon as you check-in, especially kid’s programs.
Check-in is a 4pm, rooms are seldom ready earlier. But you can arrive any time and use the pool and beach.
Beach chairs and cabanas are available to rent for a small fee or you can bring your own. Surprisingly Disney doesn’t overcharge you on the rentals.
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is in a secluded location, there’s nothing for miles in either direction. Plan to spend most of your time in the resort. The village of Vero Beach is about 20 miles away.
Plan your trip as far in advance as possible. This resort is sold out every night of the year
December though February is considered the high season. September and October are the low season months.

Is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party worth it?
I’m asked this all the time and have given this a lot of thought. And let me just say I was asked this when tickets were $80 each. As you can see they are significantly higher now.
I do think it’s a terrific event and I receive only positive feedback from clients about MVMCP. If you’ve never been before I think it’s worth doing at least once.
The event doesn’t change that much from year-to-year so it might not be something you need to do every year.
And if you don’t already have a regular ticket for Magic Kingdom, you can enter as early at 4:00 PM with your Christmas party ticket, giving you 8 hours of time in the park - with 3 hours of ride time before the party starts.
Event Times
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will take place from 7:00 PM to midnight.
These date-specific event tickets do not require an additional theme park ticket or theme park reservation.
Throughout Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you can:
Delight in the amazingly festive Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show!
Gather to watch Disney Characters give a yuletide nod to the season during Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.
Get the perfect picture with Disney pals dressed in their Christmas best!
Make your night extra sweet when you explore the park searching for cookies and cocoa.
Take in the elaborate decorations that bring the spirit of the season to life!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Will the rides be operating in the park during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2022?
Yes! Below is a list of popular rides and attractions that will be operating during the event. While it might be fun to do a ride or two, you shouldn’t plan on doing many rides at all.
You’re paying a decent amount of money to be in the Magic Kingdom after hours for a special event.
The event will fly by because you’re having so much fun. Some of your time will go to reserving a good spot to watch Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show and the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Not to mention the various character events taking place and stopping for cookies and hot chocolate.
My recommendation is to do a ride or two, but overall it’s about the Christmas party.
Attractions That Operate during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party:
Explore each land throughout Magic Kingdom park and discover iconic attractions.
Highlights include:
Fantasyland
Frontierland
Liberty Square
Tomorrowland
And many more!
All attractions and experiences are subject to change without notice.

Starting today you can now book a 2023 Walt Disney World vacation package, room-only reservation and order theme park tickets.
While not much has changed in terms of offerings, there are a few updates to share.
Packages 500 Days Out
Packages can be booked 500 days out. For example, on June 8, you can book a Disney World package through October 21, 2023.
Pirate Rooms Will Walk the Plank in 2023
Pirate themed room at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Pirate rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort are not being offered in 2023. No word yet on what will be happening with these rooms.
Pirate themed rooms are located in the remote Trinidad section of the resort. The idea was to give the least desirable rooms at the resort a pirate makeover, and hope that guests wouldn’t mind how far these rooms were from the lobby, pool, and dining.
While they were pretty neat, the beds were small - most rooms had 2 double size beds while standard rooms at the resort had 2 queen beds).
Pirate rooms also cost more than a standard room.
Things changed however when Disney Skyliner opened. The rooms in the Trinidad section suddenly became more desirable, because they are a short walk away.
Disney will likely re-theme the pirate rooms and likely charge a premium for them due their proximity to Disney Skyliner.
No Dining Plans in 2023
Last August I received an email from Disney with updates about Walt Disney World. It mentioned that the Disney Dining Plans would be returning “soon.”
The dining plans could return at any time, but I am surprised that they are not being offered in 2023 packages as of today.
King Bed Rooms at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts
King bed room at Disney’s Beach Club Resort
In 2023 you can now book a room with a king bed at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort. Previously rooms with kind beds were assigned based on the number of occupants and by making a room request.
Rooms with king beds are now an option in the Disney World booking engine.

Is Disney World’s Travel Protection Plan Worth it?
The Walt Disney World Travel Protection Plan helps protect you and your family for unexpected covered losses from the moment that you step out of your front door until the moment you safely arrive back home.
You’re very excited for your Disney World vacation and the big day has finally come. You arrive at the airport only to find out your flight is delayed. After several hours of waiting, the airline cancels the flight. Unfortunately this is all too common these days.
You’re in a difficult situation now because, according Disney’s terms and conditions, you cannot cancel your vacation inside of 24 hours to arrival.
The penalty? Forfeiture of the entire package price.
The good news is that Disney is not some little bed & breakfast who is going to stick it to you for cancelling last minute. Odds are you will be offered some type of solution.
But what happens if you don’t like the solution? It could be anything from a 50% credit if you rebook, or maybe a partial refund back on your credit card. It’s really up to Disney, all you can do is go along with it.
You will almost certainly be reminded that Disney Travel Protection was an option when you booked your vacation package.
If you purchased travel protection, this is easy. Just file a claim! As long as your claim is for a covered reason, you’ll get your money back.
You can then make new vacation plans without the headache of dealing with partial refunds and future credits, or worse, losing the entire package price.
The cost of Disney Travel Protection is well worth the peace of mind. And I always say, you can never have enough insurance.
Have questions about planning your Orlando vacation? I have answers. Contact me today to get the most out of your vacation.
How much is Disney Travel Protection?
Disney travel protection is $95.00 per adult, and children age 17 and under are free with a paying adult.
It helps protect you and your family for unexpected covered losses from the moment that you step out of your front door until the moment you safely arrive back home. This means your airfare is covered too.
Disney Travel Protection Plan can be purchased any time prior to final payment for your trip.

Will Older MagicBands Still Work When MagicBand+ is Released?
Yes! If you have a MagicBand from a previous trip to Walt Disney World, you will be able to use it even after the newer model has been released.
You’ll be able to use older MagicBands to enter the theme parks, pay for merchandise and dining, and for Disney PhotoPass.
Disney says there’s a tiny battery inside the MagicBand that is designed to last for two years.
Some of my clients have reported that MagicBands from several years ago still worked.
I have one from 2019 that I use on a regular basis and it works just fine.
It’s also important to make sure that any older MagicBands are listed as “active” in your My Disney Experience account.
In the My Disney Experience app, to My Profile > MagicBands & Cards to see a list of active and inactive bands.

Beginning at 7 a.m. on the day of your Epcot park reservation, you will be able to check for an available boarding group via the My Disney Experience app and request access to the virtual queue. This can be done before you leave your Resort hotel or on the way to the park.
At 1 p.m., there will be another opportunity to join the virtual queue for anyone who wasn’t able to join a boarding group earlier in the day. For this, you must be inside EPCOT to access this second virtual queue opportunity.
Tips for Joining the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Virtual Queue
I recommend that everyone in your party with the My Disney Experience mobile app have their phones out and ready go about 10 minutes prior to the virtual queue opening time.
Have one person on Disney’s wifi network, another on their data plan, just in case the park wifi network isn’t strong enough or becomes overloaded. There will be thousands of people doing the same thing, at the same time.
If you’re with a large group, be sure you are all linked together by using the Family and Friends tool located inside the Disney World app. This will allow one person to snag a boardgroup for the entire party.
If you make it into the queue, work as fast as you can to register. Boarding groups are filling up even while you’re registering and you could still lose out. You won’t know for sure if you got in until you complete the registration process. An error message means you didn’t get in.
Joining the virtual queue does not guarantee the ability to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. If the ride goes offline or the queue is longer than anticipated, you may not be able to ride.
Will a Virtual queue be offered during extended evening hours?
If you’re staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort or other select hotels you will have an additional opportunity to request to join the virtual queue at 6 p.m. on select dates during extended evening theme park hours.
When making park reservations, check the Disney World Park Hours page to see when extended evening theme park hours are being offered.
If you are staying at a Deluxe or Deluxe Villa, you do not need to be inside EPCOT to request to join at 6 p.m.
You will need a theme park reservation for EPCOT to experience extended evening hours — or, you may hop to EPCOT if you have the Park Hopper option on your ticket.
How do I purchase individual Lightning Lane entry to Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind?
You can purchase individual Lightning Lane entry in the My Disney Experience mobile app via Disney Genie service on the same day of your visit, subject to availability.
Based on other popular attractions like Star Wars Rise of the Resistance, you can expect individual Lightning Lane availability to sell out quickly each morning.
If you have questions or need assistance registering for virtual queue or purchasing an individual Lightning Lane entry, look for one of the Guest Experience Team Cast Members throughout the park, who will be happy to assist.
