Today I’m excited to share that multi award-winning artist The Weeknd (one of my favorite artists) has partnered with Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights to create new, terrifying haunted houses based on his record-breaking “After Hours” album.

Beginning September 2, 2022 at Universal Orlando Resort you will enter the twisted mind of this mysterious artist to experience “The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare.”

With the eerie sounds of “After Hours” reverberating throughout the experience, you’ll step into a surreal living nightmare filled with grotesque characters and themes inspired by The Weeknd’s music and short films.

As you’re stalked by slashers, bandaged maniacs, gruesome toad-like creatures and other unfathomable horrors from the mind of the artist, you’ll be challenged to survive the night while trapped within the terrifying, unexpected world of “The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare”

MagicBands were introduced in 2013 along with the MyMagic+ program, also called My Disney Experience. If you haven’t noticed, Disney likes to create multiple names for basically the same thing: Disney Genie+ / Lightning Lane and Memory Maker / PhotoPass are good examples. It’s not that MagicBands are bad in anyway, in fact they are neat little gadgets. It’s just that we don’t need them anymore, they're outdated. Today most park people are using their smartphones instead. Yep, your phone comes with a hidden MagicBand inside. Smartwatches too. Disney World MagicMobile uses the wallet feature in your phone. If you've used your phone to pay for items in a grocery store or to board a flight, you have already used your phone’s wallet technology.
