Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter - Photo Tour
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarter has reopened. Let’s take a look around!
Join me on a photo tour of Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter, one of the smallest and most convenient hotels at Walt Disney World.
And be sure to my Hotel Guides Page for information on all Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.
I love hearing the New Orleans jazz atmosphere music near the lobby. Disney does such a great job with New Orleans theme at this hotel.
Lobby and check-in area. It’s never too crowded here.
Jackson Square gifts is just off the lobby.
This is where the magic happens. If you’ve ever had a beignet here, you know what I’m talking about. A beignet is a type of fritter, or deep-fried pastry sprinkled in powdered sugar.
The food court is never crowded here and it’s one of the main reasons why I recommend Port Orleans French Quarter to my clients.
Complimentary boat transportation is provided to Disney Springs
A Port Orleans water taxi is heading to Disney Springs on the Sassagoula River.
It’s a fun take a boat ride even just for something to do. You’ll pass by Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, and some very unusual Treehouses.
You can make s’mores around the campfire each night. S’mores kits are available for purchase or you can bring your own.
The bridge in the distance serves as the boundary for Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort, French Quarter’s sister resort.
The pool at Port Orlean’s French Quarter has a whimsical theme, a pool bar, a whirlpool, and a water slide.
I love all the pathways around Port Orleans French Quarter. They’re designed to look like the streets in New Orleans. Even the manhole covers say “City of New Orleans” on them.
There are many fountains and gardens around this resort, adding to a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere.
Ah Building 4! My personal favorite! Close to the pool, lobby and bus depot.
Here in Jackson Square, you’ll find the lobby, gift shop dining, and bus depot. It’s centrally located within the resort.
See what makes Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground the most unique experiences you’ll have at Walt Disney World!
Many consider Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort the best hotel at Disney World. Here’s why.
